Crotone Academia is a group of academics and professionals, specialised in education and modern technology, who work in a mission to equip education providers with resources, technology and consultancy to enhance the standards of student experience and meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
We equip clients with resources, tools and strategies, powered by modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing, which can enhance the quality of learning and teaching as well as improve the employability and professional practice of students.
Crotone is a city in Italy, where Pythagoras taught his philosophy around 530 BC. Pythagoreans believed that everything in the universe was made of numbers (modern days we call data!). They engaged in mathēma, meant “learning” or “studying”, which is the origin of the term “mathematics”. They also taught that “humans had to always act in appropriate ways” for the “justice” and “harmony”.
